Cineform AVI to Encore playback issue
I've exported two DV AVI files from within Premiere Pro CS3. One using the microsoft dv codec and one using the cineform HD codec. I am exporting these files to use with Encore. The source file is a 1440x1080 CFHD.
The issue I am having is that the dv file exported with Cineform imports into Encore but when previewed it is a black screen. The microsoft export plays back correctly. I had hoped to use cineform in hopes that the downconversion to dv AVI would be better quality. Is the CFHD export feature to be used only for HD clips? Premiere Pro CS3 Encore 2.0 Aspect HD v5.0.5 b88 Export settings: Dv AVI and cineform HD export 29.97 720x480 widescreen pixel aspect lower field first |
