Anyone had a funky time jump in projects?

I can't figure this one out. I was editing the touches on a project when suddenly some scenes were replaced with scenes from a totally different time sequence. Others scenes went black. Not all scenes, even ones from the same original captured footage, behaved this way. Just some and I can't figure out why? Any guesses?

I think I figured it out. While capturing two different projects, I captured a tape into a different file and instead of saying it was offline pp2 took the liberty of putting different scenes in there. There's probably more to the story but it's fixed now by moving the project files from an extenal HD to the internal.
