Anyone purchased from b-hague.co.uk? (jibs and dollys)
We will soon be purchasing a new manfrotto tripod, tracking dolly and a jib, and maybe a car mount, and the best priced units (we are on a small budget at the moment) I can find in the UK are from b-hague.co.uk, so I would be grateful if anyone could give an insight into the quality of their jibs and dollys. The models I am looking at are the K14 Pro-Jib and the D5 tracking dolly.
I would also be interested to hear about any other places to buy such equipment in the UK and/or any alternative manufacturers of the products themselves. Thanks. |

I have never purchased from them but it does seem they are
around a while. If possible perhaps you could visit their store if they have one? See if it "looks" okay.

Hi Ben, l have purchased the double suction mount from them. Basically it's with manfrotto suction cups and there own engineering pieces to fit. Very well put together and a very well organised group. The shipping was sent the next business day and was here via air mail in about 7 days...here being in Australia.
l did alot of research here and found that for the same product, l was paying mega dollars. l am going to buy alot more things from these guys...very impressed...very impressed indeed..regards Michael |

What a charming terrible website. This is one of those company websites that has been so obviously put together by the secretary that you know they must put all their resources into the actual product. Hopefully. :)

I have never purchased from them BUT I have seen their gear up close and handled it. They seem as Michael says well put together and seem very nice. The long arm jib was really nice, I felt great playing with it at a camera exhibition. If I had the money I would have bought one.
I dont know where you live at in relation to their company, but many companies here in the UK if you give them a call let you go and visit and play with gear, even if they don't have a shop on site. They did have a bit where you could buy the Jib parts separate either to replace parts, or if you have the Manfrotto legs, then you can just buy the rest so cheaper still. So I would give them a call and chat with them, most blokes in this kind of industry love to chat and discuss about their gear! |
