Arte 3D-Day Dec.15,2012
Hi,
French-German public television ARTE will broadcast a thematic day dedicated to 3D on December 15. One of the documentaries is our own project "Begegnung im All" (Cosmic Encounters) about the training of young German astronaut Alexander Gerst for his mission to the International Space Station ISS in May 2014. In addition to that we show the life on board of the ISS in 3D during the mission of Dutch ESA astronaut André Kuipers, who stayed on board from December 2011 to July 2012. 3 documentaries will be shown on Saturday, December 15: 1) Die Kathedrale - Baumeister des Straßburger Münsters (at 20h15 (in Germany) and 20h50 (in France) 2) Begegnung im All (at 21h45 (in Germany) and 22h20 (in France) 3) Die Huberbuam (at 22h45 (in Germany) and 23h15 (in France) Unfortunately Arte decided, to broadcast only the 2D version. The 3D version will be shown in Germany at the same time on the Astra 3D demo channel (which can be received all over Europe via Astra Satellite) and in France the 3D version is on Orange 333.
