A switcher for live 3D switching?
Curious if anyone has heard about, or even used a portable, and rentable, switcher for 3D cameras?
Since there is such a wide range of camera outputs and projector inputs, it seems it may be easier to find an available switcher first, and then rent the camera setups and projectors accordingly. Thanks, Carlton |

I've been looking at one of these as a normal HD-SDI switcher.
It can also do 3d. AG-HMX100 | Professional 3D Production Systems | Panasonic

One alternative.... Use Nano3D's or some other converter on each camera or rig to give a side by side HDSDI output then use any regular HDSDI switcher. Then convert the HDSDI output to HDMI to feed to consumer TV's monitors or projectors that can utilise side by side.
