King Kong 3D

I had the opportunity to view the new King Kong 3D footage done by WEDA in New Zealand for the upcoming Universal Tour exhibit in Los Angeles. To say it is fantastic is to downplay the visual experience. It is a 160 foot long by 40 foot high multiple projector 3D display on both sides of a moving people tram. All of the occupants will wear active 3D glasses while viewing Kong jumping over the trams while fighting several reptilian dinosaurs on both sides. Immersive?? It doesn't get any more "moving" than this.

Anyone interested in seeing this live can do so at the Universal Studios Tour in Los Angeles starting in early July.
