So forget about the 2D to 3D conversion in this unit. That's not the important part of this story. JVC's 2D to 3D conversion is a "cool" feature but the real power of this box is that it includes a frame synchronizer for non-genlocked cameras. This opens up 3D possibilities to everything from consumer cameras to Red. (Red One can now be properly synchronized by genlock but it has been an issue in the past.)
The other cool thing is that you can make parallax adjustments in the box. Hopefully the values mean something significant like pixels or percentage.
