The other day it was made known that YouTube now supports 3D (with multiple ways of viewing the content). In light of this new development, I wrote a tutorial about stereoscopic 3D for Sony Vegas users (although with a bit of adjustment, the workflow can work with other editors too). The tutorial guides the first-time 3D shooters from shooting, to editing, to exporting, to Youtube hints on how to enable 3D there. Of course there are a lot more details to work out, but it should give a general idea of what's involved to first timers.
