Need help with Exciting new Build thread.
Hello all!
I am but a young gun to the world of DIY 3D, so theres a lot I don't know. Hopefully, I will learn a lot from building my own rig. Can you teach me? I am trying to accomplish 3 things in this project: 1. Build a rig to record HS (300-600FPS) 3D! video. 2. Build a decent projection system to display the video. 3. Build a Live 3D video rig to display video on top of the previous 3D video for comparison purposes. I have two (yes two) Casio EX-F1 cameras. These cameras can record good quality super-slow-motion in the range of 300-1200FPS, but I will stick to the 300 since the rez is still good there. I think this is going to be really cool, because I don't think anyone has ever done high speed video that was also in 3D. I need this to analyze very quick and complex situations and also compare to live events. Hence, the need to "layer" two videos. I am not attached per-say to any one way of doing this, so if there is are *cough* cheaper ways to set-up I'll probably go that route. I have pictures of the cameras, but since I am new here there is a lock on attachments. If an admin would be so kind to remove it, I will post pics of these beautiful babies. |
