Which camera?

I will be shooting some indoor water slides in 2 weeks - I'd like to do some 360 tests. I am at a total loss as to what camera to buy.

The leading contender is the Nikon KeyMission 360, but the software is so buggy I'm nervous. Word on the street is that if you switch it to Airplane mode, you can operate it manually without bluetooth or WiFi, and that seems to work pretty well. The stitch is a little rough, but hurdling down a water slide I'm not sure you'll be able to tell.

Any first-person reports?
