Here's something that just popped up in the news today: Doctor developing eye problem detector says 3DS can't detect eye problems

I've managed to see the 3DS at my local Best Buy which has the system on display and played with it for a while. I don't know if this thing will be a help for kids with eye problems or not but the 3-D effect on this thing is pretty amazing for such a tiny video game system.
