“Reel Dreams: Behind the Student Filmmaker”
Westbury, NY — Switronix Inc. is excited to announce a new three part web series, Reel Dreams: Behind the Student Filmmaker. The first episode of this series will premiere on March 11th, 2013 on www.switronix.com/blog/reel-dreams-series. This three part webseries will document four college students in three particular stages of their training as they pursue professional careers in the film industry.
We introduce our cast as they are followed through their semester of projects, shoots and post-production. We will follow their ups-and-downs as they learn what it takes to be in the film industry and put their skills to use. This series documents the untold story of the student filmaker and highlights the dreams and dedication of working in todays Film Industry.
Reel Dreams will feature the dynamic duo of Joe Plescia and Evan Crochet, Sophmores, who met in their freshman year and have dreams of moving to Los Angeles and making it in the film industry. Kristina Lally, a Junior, has been a huge film fan her entire life and has the determination to break into the industry as a female filmmaker. Corey Protin, a Senior, is entering his final semester of college and is working on his senior project before embarking on his path into the industry.
