Hi Steven

What is the 1440x1080 ??? That is the old HDV format and still has a PAR more than one ..Are you putting your project settings in 1920x1080 or in 1440x1080 ..if you are using the latter (which you shouldn't be) then that will mess up any footage that's in normal 1920x1080

HDV was used when HD first came out on MiniDV tape!

7360x4912?

are you panning / zooming or such like on these pics? if not they're overkill in a hd project.

Ouch! That's a huge file and from a 36mp sensor too ..However despite the size it still has an aspect of 3:3 (1.5 ratio) and you need your stills to be 16:9 (1.777) so I would crop them in your image editor and resize to 1920x1080 if as Leslie says unless you are zooming on the image.

Yeah, the images are the defacto backup of my raw files, so I just have them do double duty of being 'cloud' jpeg backup and then throw them into my video files. But I'll do some more testing. I just thought it may be a Vegas 13 thing since I havn't seen this behavior before.

And yep, the actual raw files cane be between 25 and 30 meg per. The files are huge, but make a big difference in the video with closeups and such.

This means render at the same frame rate that you shot and are editing the project in. Not the bit rate you recorded at
