Can I use Vegas to reduce size of BluRay movies?
I have several concert videos on BluRay. Would like to reduce the size so I can store on a 64 GB flash drive, to watch on my tablet on the plane. I've ripped them to my hard drive, each of the disc is at least 25-35 GB. What can I do with Vegas?
[1] Import and render at a lower bit rate, to reduce the size? Ideally, I'd like to keep the 1920 x 1080 resolution, but just drop the bit rate. [2] Import and render at a lower bit rate, while also reduce the resolution. Maybe to 1280 x 720? Any other ideas I should consider? I know that by going through Vegas, I'll most likely lose the menu. I'm OK with that, only watch the main concert video. Thanks, |

It is better to use specialised free tools like BDtoAVCHD BDtoAVCHD 1.8.6 - VideoHelp.com Downloads or XVID4PSP Winnydows Home depending on what formats are better understood your tablet.
