Help, how do I get rid of this?
I'm trying to move clips around on the time line, but am unable to do so. As soon as I move the arrow anywhere within the Video Track or Audio Track area, a weird attachment appears next to the arrow. This thing looks like 4 tiny squares connected together, as in when one plays a kid's game of connect-the-dot. Because of this , the function of the arrow changes. Whereas normally I can left-click a clip and move it around, now if I left-click, I'm performing time selection (i.e. the yellow triangle above the time line gets dragged across along with the arrow). I hope you guys can understand what I'm describing.
As a workaround, I can still move a clip, but I have to do it by using the arrow keys on the numerical keypad (#4 and #6). Thanks, |
Hi Norris,
You have it in Envolope edit mode. Ctrl-D will put you back in the Normal Edit mode. You can also click on the Icon on the tool bar that looks like an "I" with a line through it. Don't know how Vegas came up with that symbol. --Sylvan |
Haha, thanks so much! I would never have figured it out on my own.
