How to handle 1920x1080p in 1440x1080i?

I like to use some cloud footages that is in 1920x1080p.. but my project is in 1440x1080, 25i. Whats the best way to deal with this? Do I render to SD 720x576 (PAL land here)? Are there better ways? Thks!

Just drop the 1920x1080 file on the timeline, Vegas will know what to do with it.

As john said, use it in whatever project resolution/aspect you've got, Vegas will know what to do with it. If you're sure it's progressive, there are no issues to be concerned about, as it will be correctly interlaced in your project. If you're not sure, there are some potential issues to watch out for.
