New Demo in HD
I usually upload to my own web-page but I hired someone to do a new one for me and now I can't do it myself.
I wonder if you can view it from this free page. http://www.twango.com/media/douglasv...villalba.10002 If you can, please let me know what you think of it. |
The link asks me to sign up at some site called "Twango."
|
I wanted to upload a demo to see how it looked on line so I did a google search for a free site & that's what I got.
I just checked your demo, very nice!!! |
Thank you Douglas, glad you liked it. I just posted a new clip in the wedding section, too, if you are interested.
To see yours, I need to create an account? |
bout to downaload it, curious how u find the HVX in a wedding environment...
I love the camera (if you havetn noticd, im a Pana freak) but I had major issues with the P2 system during live rolling |

For the editing I capture the Sony's out of the component as DVCPRO HD and edit everything in that format. |

what i could manage to see was this http://www.twango.com/media/douglasv...villalba.10003 what have you shot it with ??? |

Question for you: why do you capture from the cameras out of the component and edit as DVCPRO HD instead of using the firewire and editing in HDV? (Oh, and by the way, West Hartford misses you terribly, I hear ;)) |
doug....im not able to view your work posted. i like your new site though, i believe you've changed it?
i think the use of hip hop music is totally cool....and it doesn't limit your prospects imo. im sure you have a variety of samples with all different types of tunes .....and only using sappy wedding type music limits one i think. its cool to have diefferent types of "feels" or "styles"......not all brides like the sappy stuff. anyway, id like to check out the work but cant. |
holy cow, did anyone else see that ring?
|
Yeah, I can't say I am crazy about the music.
I like rap, but I feel that weddings and rap do not belong, IMO. Much like bbq sauce and chocolate do not belong. I love the rest of it though! It's totally my style. |
I liked the way you pieced together the video. The stutters were a little abrupt in the beginning, but I liked the smooth in/out work, be it camera or the dutch tilt zooming. Nice positioning on their bonding candle traditions.
Now, for the fun. Man, that rock on her hand was Gibraltar. If I were the father of the bride, I would have slapped the groom "upside the head" for doing that under the dress garter removal in public. Whack ! |
That's not Rap, it's R&B...
At least that's my opinion.
I liked the video, and the editing style suited the music. There are clients for every style, and it's good to be able to do them all. Well done. Michael |
assuming the clients love this type of music for their video... then it's great. seems to match the miami culture as well.
i didn't like some of the jump cuts... some had a great effect and some made the video look like it studdered unintentionally... but other than that it it was great. you had a great arsenal of cameras to use. |
Interesting
Well, I definetly liked the start of the clip, especially with the fast beats and fast cuts... slo mos mixed with the fast mos... but honestly at the church I kinda got lost in the music not matching what I was watching... I guess it was just the music choice, but then again it's just what I think, oh and also the vignetting didn't do much for me.
