Yet Another iRiver Post...
Having great success using iRivers for grooms and speakers (podiums); now I want to use one on the DJ. I know some folks here are doing this but I wasn't able to find a suggested setting. Who's doing this, and what level do you set the input? If groom / minister is 45 - 50, would line in from DJ be safe at 30?
thanks, David |
what do you mean by DJ ?
because basically, when you mean groom, i suppose you mean microphone recording. For me a DJ (the guy who plays music from CD, most of time) , works with mixing table, that most of time can output to a line out cinch cable. My Iriver as a selection for the input that can be used a LINE or MIC level. In that case i would try to connect on the DJ equipement and use the line setting. for the level, i am afraid you can only guess by testing on you own HIFI home equipement, since LINE OUT levels are supposed to be all the same (almost) |

Yep. I just thought someone may have already done it. I'll experiment and report my findings. DM |
