Not sure if I"m allowed to show it here and if not feel free to remove it but I always found the Brits humor very sophisticated and you either do or don't like their sense of humor, I at least do :)

Although I don't see Newcastle Brown Ale on the list of unofficial state beers:

I do enjoy Newcastle and, in point of fact, presently have some in the icebox next to the Spaten Optimator (a brew from Munich), and of course, a case of Shiner Bock. I shall quaff a Newcastle this very morning in honor of our friends across the globe who still wave back to the Queen. Let the party begin!
