Highlight Film
We were in India in January shooting a documentary. While we were there a friend of a friend was getting married and we were asked to join in on the fun!
The wedding was a bit more traditional in the American style...but the love of friends and family was so beautiful. It made for a great film. |
Re: Highlight Film
Well done sir! You got lucky with the officiant, what a great voice and perfect message. You're shooting was fantastic and you put it all together, I know the couple are very happy!
Please tell me about the music you opened with, where did it come from? |
Re: Highlight Film
Yes! Those were the most beautiful words I've heard at a wedding ceremony!
The music is by Dexter Britain. Licensed it from themusicbed.com |

Re: Highlight Film
Yes, the next time a new wedding videographer asks "how important is audio" we will send him to this thread!

Re: Highlight Film
Awesome. How did you do audio? I actually really like the cleanliness mixed with the natural reverb, really adds to it.

Re: Highlight Film
I just used a sennheiser lav straight in to my zoom recorder. One was on the minister...the other on the groom. The reverb is natural reverb from the church's system echoing through the large sanctuary. I had very minimal gear with me as I wasn't planning on shooting this wedding while I was there...just kinda happened. The bride's vows aren't quite as clear...the reverb over powers it...so that's why her vows aren't in the highlight film. If I had another zoom to go in to I would have gone through the church's sound system as well.
