Very nice, I am wondering where did you get the blu-ray box.

couple months ago we attended a wedding show and want to promo the blu-day wedding. I want to buy a blu-ray box to put in our stall but we can't find any. We end up brought a Wall-E blu-ray and put our cover in.

May be a minor point, but are you sure you can use the BR logo? I know I'd probably put something similar to designate the BR discs, but I think you are "supposed" to have a license to use the actual logo - it's been discussed somewhere here on DVi (not in this subforum). The different case helps "define" that it's a different product, adding to the image, but I've always planned on using standard boxes myself, might have to re-think that!

I know you can't use the DVD logo for free. My replicator must pay a license fee when I order DVDs from him. I would think it is similar with the blue ray logo.

I don't think the issue is the case. It is the use on your cover of the "blue ray" logo.

The use of the Blu-ray or DVD Logo is not allowed on burned media. It seems ridiculous as you just want to inform your client that it is a DVD or Blu-ray, and show them a logo they are familiar with, but unfortunately it is prohibited by law.

You might be able to get away with just having the Blu-ray logo on the case, but I am not a lawyer, so I cannot be sure. I would definitely remove it from your cover and label artwork though. You don't even need it on the Blu-ray cover since it is redundant (the case has the same logo).

You can't use the official logo. So what. Make your own. There has to be a way to identify the media type for the little guy.
