the bride's gonna love that so much..really uplifting, nice and varied shots, and great memories of the day for her
from an outsider's view it was prob about a minute too long and i wouldn't have personally used vignetting throughout...but these are minor points, and the bride and her family would hardly say the same :) |
Very nice Zach - I agree may be a tad long but a high quality piece. Loved the sneaker shot! The bride looked like she was a having a good time too.

Richard & Art - I agree completely about the length. I actually shortend it a bit but the bride picked the song and so I didn't want to cut too much out of it. I didn't care for the song myself as I feel it is too repedative. I'll have to back away from the vignetting. Is there a rule of thumb that you go by as to what shots to apply it to? I find that if the shot is bright/outdoors that it typically looks best without the vignette...Thanks for the comments

i really don't think there are any rules that we'd all stick to but my own personal rules of thumb about when NOT to use vignetting:
- on moving/panning/zooming shots - when the subject's face or body cover edges/corners of the shot...it puts a nasty gradient on their skin! - on some plain, non-detailed backgrounds (e.g. plain skies, plain walls) but rules can be broken depending on the shot itself :) |
