Can the 7" marshal be used on your nle for checking color. Just for color accuracy

Absolutely. I'm doing it now. See the calibration steps on page 11 http://dvestore.com/images/V-LCD70P-HDA.pdf

It's kind of tough to demo, but I think I might be able to shoot a video of doing this. Would you be interested if I shot a quick tutorial?
