December is coming up and here are the magic dates:

Signup closes and theme release:
December 1.

Deadline:
January 4, 2015, midnight anywhere in the world. (You got an extra weekend due to the holidays and new year)

Most important rule: The world famous #11

Notice:
Rules and guidelines are updated. Please read.

Haven't heard words from the DVC crew, so the December challenge will run as a regular UWOL challenge.

Vishal, welcome to the UWOL challenge!
You are right, by posting in this thread, you are signed up for the December challenge.

The theme/topic will be released (in a separate thread here in the uwol challenge forum), December 1st.
As always, the theme will be more or less "generic" to make sure that wherever you are on the planet, it is possible to participate.

Great to know that its generic, i have read the rules .

Just that its winters in India and i was looking at making one on the migration of birds to our area, if that fits the bill.

Sign me up. I don't expect December to be more generous with time than the previous months, but maybe it's more about starting early and just finishing something once in a while.

Yes, there will not be any charity challenge this year.
Tried contact Dylan (the DVchallenge master), but never heard anything back. Seems like DVC is pretty much put on hold for the time being.

Not sure if there will be any future charity challenges or not. Time will tell what we end up with.
