Mount Monopod to Mic Stand Base
 
hello,

Has anyone tried adding a mic stand base to the bottom of a monopod? I read on B&H Photo reveiews were this guy modified one of the Oben Monopods with a mic stand base plate for weight. I wanted to do something similar and was wondering how?

I assume you're talking about modding your Oben?

Before you do, I'd suggest taping various weights to the bottom to see if you like operating with heavier weights.

Yes. That's correct. I've added some read and have the perfect weight for what I'm looking for.
