manfrotto 501 with 525MVB or 503 with 351MVB
 

looking at these tripod systems for the dvx100.

the reason for these posts is because of the fact that they end up costing me roughly the same amount (if i went with the 503/525 combo - it would add $au350 more - something i can't afford)

at the moment i am geared towards the 503/351mvb and perhaps get a spreader for it for the extra stability if required

what do u guys think? sacrifice the head or the legs?
