OK, can you name this tripod?

I have a picture of this tripod...it is a manfrotto 3433 head, but I cannot figure out which tripod this is. Do you know?

The legs look like the Manfrotto 3046/3246. On mine it actually shows the name and number on the center column...

That is where I was at...it is at an auction and I can't view it live cause it is out of state. Trying to make sure I bid correctly! You know what i mean!

Yeah, what Adam said. It's a regular Bogen/Manfrotto tripod with a Bogen/Manfrotto vertical shot attachment pillar added.
I know because I have one (the pillar, not the tripod). Basically it's an adjustable 90 degree adaptor. You unscrew the head off the tripod, screw the pillar onto the tripod, screw the head onto the pillar. Vertical shot ability, no problems. The adjustability is that the pillar can be adjusted so the tripod head can be closer or further away from the tripod base, and also the cylindrical pillar can be pivoted within its mount. So think of it as a regular tripod with head plus a 90 degree adaptor arm, because that's what it is. Cheers Chris |
