007 & the XL1
 

I went to see the new James Bond movie and in one scene with a bunch of reporters, right there in front is a guy with a XL1. Hollywood likes that camera I think!

I "allegedly" saw Jackass and it was used in several of the shots.

That proves that an xl1 output to 35mm doesn't look so bad after all ;-)

I wonder if it was NTSC or PAL :-)

It would be so neat to have an xl1 with some cool bond features. Like a rocket firing out of your lens :-P

I was surprised it was an XL-1 and not an XL-1S. Do you think he was front and center because of a focusing issue??? ;-)

Xl1s has got a rocket built in, it fires straight for your wallet.

I passed on the missle launcher option and went for the silver custom case instead. You know, the Z4 Roadster by BMW. Yours did come with a case didn't it?

The green seeking missile is standard, not an option. I would have opted for the m5 case with the 4 pzero no skid rubber feet :)

Sean Connery seemed to like the Anton Bauers much better too.

Yah, but since Aston Martin got bought by Ford I think he probably feels a little differently towards them. What is it he drove in this movie? I haven't seen much of the hype surrounding it.

Imagine plopping your XL1 in that at the end of an all-day shoot, then heading home with the top down, Halle fiddling with the radio by your side...aaaaahhhh...

(By the way, Halle drives a Ford in the movie...wait'll you see it)

Oh, so they both drove Fords.
