Do we see a need for our own news shooter forum here? Let me know, |
A seperate forum -"news shooter forum" - hmmmm.
That would include people who freelance (carpetbagging) and those who are 'stringers'? (Under contract to provide content?) - directly to broadcast news outlets? What about those of us who work in broadcast/cable as directors producers and editors, (NO - DON'T ask me to use the word 'preditor' - or even Proditor - I hate it) I guess the 'doc' forum would still be seperate - since documentary is generally seperated from 'newsgathering' by it's timeliness. Once it's archived it's doc material basically. Sure, I'm game for that. |
If there is enough interest, of course I'd support it but if only 5 or so of us are likely to participate in that specific forum, I'd say don't worry about it. Let's see how many of us are interested.
And thanks again Chris for all the support and for providing this forum (and Forum) for us. I spend a GREAT deal of my available time cruising and perusing here. |

But there is a lot of things whitch makes XHA1 better and 5times more expensive. Just understand - these are a lot of differences between XHA1 and really professional Equipment. |
Well,
I certainly understand that. The original issue i am posting about is not how awesome my camera is, but the irony of the arrogance of one guy. The vast majority of newguys that I have run into are very cool. Very profesional and welcome me with open arms. But I thought the fact that this guy was so desperate to brag, he actually told me that his cam could shoot in broad daylight without shadows under the eyes, and his subject squinting in to the sun. I thought it was laughable... Bill |
