Can anyone translate this from Philipino to English?
I've been getting text messages at 4am... I think this is Philipino/Tagalog? Couldn't get Babelfish to translate. Can anyone help?
Hi sing, ginbu-ol gid neneng ang ginbayad kay amy, tapos si jelpa nagapanukot man sang gintabon kuno 1,500 ambot kon may nabilin pa kay nanay, ari ko sa obra 2:am. Bugtaw ang mga olds ko. Thanks! |
um....
"Hi, I'm trying to scam you, will you please let me? Send me 1500 parfaits by 2 tomorrow morning or the goldfish dies...." OK, that was joking of course, but while I'm usually able to find something recognizable, that one is a complete befuddlement! I'd be interested if you do figure out what language it actually is! Since it's a text, who knows what strange 15 YO dialect this actually is! |
Oh my, its actually coordinates. After reviewing, it appears to give coordinates to a place in Wyoming called Devil Tower..... be careful, if you start making mountain sculptures in your oatmeal, a French scientist may show up at your door, asking you to put on an orange jump suit and dark glasses.....

It is one of many dialects spoken in the Philippines. It is not Tagalog but a dialect spoken in the South. From what I can comprehend, someone is sending out a text message to a person in BC saying " your mother needs 1,500". I'd just reply and say that you have the wrong number.
