Sorry, when Edward Norton opens the door it opens outwards. Usually front doors (around these parts anyway) open inwards.

Charles, I just watched that shot a couple times. It looked like the pan at stairs end might have designed to disguise the stairs to floor transition. Clever, if true!

If a dolly were used, wouldn't another thing to consider be the tracks if you are trying to achieve a full body shot of the actor? This is also of course assuming you'd be using tracks for the smoothest shot possible.

Oh and fantastic work there Charles. Also that Flightplan shot was stunning.
