Photoshop CS2
I just saw that Adobe has announced CS2 which includes Photoshop CS2.
Here's whats new: http://www.adobe.com/products/photos...wfeatures.html |
After using the new version for a while, I like it in general, and the new RAW support and scripting are an excellent improvement.
I recommend it, but wish new versions didn't come out so quickly. |
I agree on both points. CS2 delivers some real benefits, particularly to RAW shooters. The spin-off of CS's browser into a separate application, Bridge, is also an excellent architectural change that enables more efficient co-processing between Bridge and CS2.
For those using CS who mainly shoot JPG the practical benefits of CS2 may be a bit slimmer and urgency of upgrade somewhat less. |
It's usually the little things that I initially did not think were were such a big deal that make the upgrade worth it for me. The Warp function didn't seem like such a hot new thing to me, but it has already saved me on a job that I don't know how I would have done without it.
