This camera has not been announced yet, although there is speculation. Some sources say Canon had pictures on their website but removed them others say it is untrue and this addition to the canon line is yet to be confirmed.

The pictures were there, I visited the site last night and this morning. It will be announced either tomorrow or Friday.

The Canon USA site only had photos, no specs. Plenty of sites are listing the specs, just as Bill outlined. I think the specs are legit. Price should be around $1300 to $1400 USD for the body and add about $300 for the kit lens (17-85mm IS).
