At last - trying out my Steadicam Merlin
 

I have actually had a Merlin for a few months now, but yesterday was the first time I tried it out in the field!

I need a lot of practice (as you will notice in this video clip)
But I was happy with my first attempts.
The scenes were shot by 2 cameras. A Sony Z1 on a tripod and a Sony FX1 on the Merlin. I used the smallest battery available on the FX1 to help keep the weight down.

I have never tried one, but it looks (to me) Like you did a very well for you're first run.
