Z1 + Me66/muffler/cable on Merlin?
 

I'd really appreciate it if there is someone who could help me.

I have a Sony Z1 and want to get the merlin steadicam but only if i can use the ME66/m6 mic with it. (that will include the muffler/cable and side shock mount)

I've had feed back from different people and different answers, but really from people guessing i think.

if anyone has experience of using the merlin this way and/or can give me a definitive yes or no that would be great.

if its a yes, i'm buying one today.
