Manfrotto 521EX to Glidecam hd4000??

Hello,
i need the Manfrotto 521Ex to remote control th ezoom and the rec of my ex1r, when using the x10 with hd4000.
Is it ok?
I need anything else, or it will be ok to mount itself to the hd4000?
