Is my camera to light for the Steadicam Jr?
 

I can get it balanced every way fine except it seems to bottom heavy, the recovery on Z is to fast. I have tried everything and I just can't get rid of the bottom weight. I have the Z adjustment all the way down with no luck. Im running a Panasonic GS100k with a wide angle lense on it and large batt. Is my camera to small for this thing or is it not high enuff on the plate to balance right? any suggestions?

It sounds like you are doing everything right and the camera is indeed too light. However, that's much better than too heavy! I would recommend adding more weight up top. A super-light JR, even when balanced, is a bit squirrely to operate; the optimum camera weight is probably around 3 lbs. If you have no more accessories to add, consider having a small steel platemade that can fit between the camera and the mount on the JR. A local machinist should be able to make such a thing for you inexpensively. If your camera has an accessory shoe on top, maybe a small onboard light or shotgun mike?

Or, you might consider using a Manfrotto quick release. The 394 is flat and works well on my GC4000.

Could we suppose that the PDX10 is perfect for the Steadicam JR, being about three pounds with attachments?
