17-50 2.8 Sigma O.S. working
This is the first experiment of 17-50 2.8 with the O.S working.
My reverse engineering of the Canon EF protocol is reaching the end. these first takes with and without the Optical Stabilizer Next step will be a follow focus (I found the code to move the focus motor as well). The lens is pretty good and match well the sensor. here some pics: http://www.eidomedia.com/F3/f3_si_1.jpg http://www.eidomedia.com/F3/f3_si_2.jpg http://www.eidomedia.com/F3/f3_si_3.jpg http://www.eidomedia.com/F3/f3_si_4.jpg http://www.eidomedia.com/F3/f3_si_6.jpg |

Very cool. What mount do you use with the Sigma?

Re: 17-50 2.8 Sigma O.S. working
Canon EF.
For the F3 side I made the flange on the lathe (BTW using an old U-matic BVU upper drum) and for the lens side I have used an EF estension tube. Matteo |
