Cine Alta
Does the PMW 200 have the Cine Alta label as the EX1r did?

Re: Cine Alta
All Cinealta used to mean was the ability to shoot and record at 23.98 fps, nothing more than that. As the PMW-200 can shoot at that rate that would class it as a CineAlta camera. But things have moved on and now Sony tend only to badge cameras with s35 sensors that can shoot 23.98 or 24p as CineAlta.

Re: Cine Alta
Didn't it also include some of the picture profile settings as well?

a CineAlta (not to mention the Vg20 or 30 as they are technically APSC sensors that can shoot 24p.) I think the CineAlta designation is reserved for their higher end cams. |

What Alister said pretty much sums it up. Sony now reserves the Cine Alta badge for higher-end cameras, but since the EX1R had that label, the PMW-200 is just as deserving of it too, even if it doesn't actually have it. |
