Help with Shot Transition
 

I don't use Shot Transition feature very often, never really think about it until later. I have used it occasionally in the past. I went to use it today and for some reason when I press the button, nothing happens. The little green light doesn't even come on. Nothing comes up on the screen either. No Shot A, Shot B etc. I've pushed the focus ring forward, made sure the zoom servo is on, etc. I've tried everything so I'm hoping someone can tell me something that I've missed and that there isn't anything wrong with my camera.
