latest XDCAM transfer?
I am using XDCAM transfer 2.10 with FCP 7.03 and snow leopard 10.6.7 and can't see my thumbnails.
I read somewhere that 2.11 solved this but can't find it anymore on the Apple site. It looks like its been replaced by 2.12, but that seems designed for FCP X. What's up? Will 2.12 work on FCP 7 ? Is there anyway to find 2.11? I seem to remember reading here about an entirely new way to import EX or F3 files but don't remember it and seem to recall it wasn't highly recommended. |

Re: latest XDCAM transfer?
ClipBrowser 2.6, XDCAM Transfer 2.12 work fine with FCP7 on Snow Leopard.
They are EOL and will not be made Lion compatible. That will happen with XDCAM Browser which might be the 2.0 you're referring to but I don't think it's Lion ready yet. Tomorrow will be havoc. |

Thanks Craig,
What's the deal with XDCAM Browser 2.0. Pros and cons vs ClipBrowser 2.6 & XDCAM Transfer 2.12 ? |
Re: latest XDCAM transfer?
I've been unable to download XDCAM Transfer 2.12 . Tried 2 ways so far and each way the download takes a long time and in the end I get an error message.

took a few tries but I finally got a good download of 2.12 thanks.
Doug Thanks for your rant about XDCAM Browser . Sounds horrible. Hope Sony doesn't do a FCPX on us . |
