LCD Screen and Eyepiece work simultaneously?
 

Hi

I am sure this has been asked before so apologies upfront!

I want to use the LCD screen and eyepiece in tandem. I want to do the critical focus with the LCD and a sockloupe and then use the eyepiece for filming as it gives me a much more stable platform for handheld.

Is there something in the menu where I can keep both turned on at the same time?

Hi Nick. Yes, you can have both on at the same time. Go to the LCD/VF SET menu, and select EVF. Under the POWER setting, change it from AUTO to ON.
In the AUTO setting, the EVF turns on only when the LCD is parked or rotated towards the subject.
