progressive hdmi or sdi out

Aja io express reports all signals on sdi & hdmi are 1080i, even 1080p25 ex1r mode. As long as i choose correct sequence or set field dominance none, prores capture does appear progressive. Is it true progressive in an interlace stream on hdmi & hd sdi out?
