Brilliant tutorial on XDCAM workflow

Just tripped on this tutorial for XDCAM workflow. Covers all the bases. Even pros will get something out of it.

You can view it from the link below:

I got car sick watching that.

He didn't mention ClipBrowser with CRC on but, based on other aspects of the video, he's not inclined to wear seat belts either.

I second that, could not get past the first 30 sec ... just too painful too look at

Michael Sims October 4th, 2010 08:53 PM

I made it all the way to 1:25 before I couldn't take it anymore. No thanks.

What the...? What kind of setting is that for training? Might work for those with ADHD or something.

Hilarious and well done. Other motion picture related forum people are splitting themselves over this piece.

The man who can explain to me what's the point doing it in a military truck and shouting all the way has yet to be born to Earth.

Hiram Yates October 5th, 2010 07:16 PM

Yeah, dunno why he needed to do all that in a military truck and all. Definitely made me laugh when the tower fell then later on the whole table tipping over. Otherwise, pretty lame tutorial, it has the info someone who has never used XSCAM + Final Cut might need, but it could have been about a minute long if it wasn't for the stupid gimmick.
