sxs card error message
 

i was shooting a wedding with a pmw350. the cam stopped recording and said media corrupted and that i had to do something (forgot)i rehit the record button and recording switched to the 2nd card. anyone heard of this?

I had the same problem with one of my cards, Error message saying card needs to be intialised or something like that. This happened on a 12 minute take, fortunately I switched to card B and asked to the talent to repeat the action again, I got the sequence. Back at base I was surprised to find that the first take was all there, nothing was missing. I have since tested and re-tested this card with no repeat problems, I have marked the card and will not risk it again, it is now used just for the last dregs of the day clips.
