XDCAM EX-3 SD 16 X 9 output
 

I see no option for a 16 x 9 output in SD through the SDI or component out connections. I see three choices 1. Squeeze; 2. Letterbox; or 3. Cropped. Am I missing something? When I feed the "squeeze" picture into a 16 x 9 monitor it appears to be a 16 x 9 picture, though when i record this output on a Nano Flash in SD the format in FCP says it's 720 x 486. It does however look fine on a timeline if I let FCP select the timeline format.

Surely all is Ok. Your SD file contains the anamorphic picture at the correct SD size.
