Setting up the LCD screen
Does anyone have a good technique for setting up the LCD screen on a EX3/EX1 - I pressume you would have to use the colour bars. On my Studio monitor I can use the Blue screen to get the right tonality etc. Is there a hidden blue setting on the camera that I haven't found as yet?
I did have the LCD screen set up perfectly untill someone messed about with the Contrast and Brightness settings, now I can't seem to get it back to where I was before. |
Good question Vincent. I wondered about this as the controls for it are another upgraded selling point of the EX-3 which are now on the outside. I tried using the menu to setup using colour bars but in the end I settled for the standard settings with the thought that really for proper monitoring you have to have a proper monitor full stop.

A full monitor setup is of course ideal, except when you are at a remote location, then the LCD screen is often your only guide.
