EX1 charger's strange noises
 

I know from early reports here that while charging a battery, the charger can squeal - and this is normal.

But having the charger connected to the mains, without battery or DC cable in the EX1's socket - my charger produces noises, as well. I know I probably shouldn't be leaving it connected, but I always did with my other chargers...

Is it going to die any day now, or do all of them whisper (not so quietly, at all)?

The problem is, I just learned from the Prime Support they don't cover chargers:(

mine does too, i dont think its anything to worry about.

I have to unplug mine as soon at the batteries are charged or it drives me nuts! They squeal for quite a while after unplugging them too!
