Main Concept MPEG Pro HD 3 - anyone use this to edit?
 

Is anyone using this codec to edit their EX1 footage?

If so, how does it go and what do you save your exports as? Uncompressed seems the only option...

This product is essentially still in Beta. I purchased it for use with Premiere CS3, and have currently uninstalled it and am waiting on a refund. Vegas Pro 8 on the same system is exceptional and stable. MainConcept returned a single email of many which informed that a fix would be coming. Terrible customer service and non functional product.

Randy; I don't see this codec in Vegas; is it an add to be purchased? What does it do compared to the Main Concepts mpeg2 templates?

Thiis is a plugin for Premiere, not Vegas. I would have loved to use it, but it causes odd crashes, freezes, stalls on import....Vegas edits beauitifully on the same system.
