I "pre-ordered" mine in London in second week of January. Got it just under two weeks later.

Somewhat surprised to read some folks had pre-ordered several months ago and got theirs after me.

By posting your Serial numbers and whether or not you are having any vignetting problems we might be able to isolate the problem to a certain batch. So far we have come to the conclusion that serial numbers that start with "400" are in Europe and the ones with "100" were shipped to the states. If you guys can state your serial number and whether or not you are having any issues would be very helpful.

Bought from London, mine is 400911. (no vignetting, mysterious stepping with low zoom speeds at 1-4)

I purchased camera 100885 in Miami. It has vignette issues even after sending it to California for re alignment. I am working on getting a replacement.

Ordered my EX1 on 12-14-07 and the unit was delivered on 12-15-07. The serial number is 100042. Today we will be testing for the vignetting problem and will report our findings later.

Got my cam from B&H today. SN: 101588.

Very early testing shows no issues. I'm going to do some further testing over the weekend.

Should I be concerned? My unit from B%H came lust 4 days prior and the seriel number was 100133. Was it a returned unit - I'm getting paranoid ?

When did you order it?
